A Turriff man will undertake a “brutal” gym workout for charity on Saturday.

The exercise will consist of 25 sets of chest, legs, back, biceps, triceps and shoulder reps, with
“I’ve been training for this for a while and I’ve achieved 100 sets in the past”
Mr Milne setting himself a deadline of two hours to finish it.
He said: “I’ve been training for this for a while and I’ve achieved 100 sets in the past, so my son Rhys dared me to do 150, which has never been done before.
“So I thought why not do it for charity?
“It’s the ultimate challenge and is really brutal. My personal trainer Stephen Gould said that it’s absolutely unbelievable what I’m attempting.”
Mr Milne has already raised over £2,500 for charity and you can add to his total by donating online by visiting www.justgiving.com/ fundraising/martinmilne1.
