Interfaith week to kick off in city
The launch of this year’s Scottish Interfaith Week will take place in Aberdeen, hosted by Interfaith Scotland, the Aberdeen Interfaith Group, the Aberdeen Multi-Faith Forum and the city council.

The Gathimba Edwards Foundation, which raises funds for children in Kenya, is looking for volunteers. The charity hopes two people will help with its Christmas Fair at Rubislaw Church Centre on November 17. The volunteers would be needed between 10am and 2pm. History of hospitals
The Ellon and District Historical Society are holding a meeting next week.
On November 13 Fiona Musk will give an illustrated talk about the history of Aberdeenshire hospitals.
The meeting will be held in the Buchan Hotel in Ellon at 7.30pm. All are welcome to attend the free event.
Less waste, more wealth
An event is being held to explore practical ways to reduce waste, increase wealth and improve the quality of people’s lives in Scotland.
Less Waste, More Wealth will take place on December 1 in the Sir Ian Wood Building at RGU in Aberdeen.
The event is hosted by Aberdeen Beautiful.
Armistice Day events
A special armistice event will take place at the Kirkyard memorial in Huntly on Remembrance Sunday.
It will start at 3pm and will be followed by a lecture on the impact of the First World War on the village of Forgue. Both events are free.
