Hot to Trot cash in on £1m Heartache
AN ODYSSEY that reached dizzy peaks last year will end next month when the jaunty filly Heartache is sold at auction at Newmarket.
Bloodstock experts estimate that the speedy winner of the 2017 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot could make as much as £1m when she goes through the ring at Tattersalls.
Heartache has raced through her career in the colours of Hot to Trot Racing, an enthusiastic band of owners who leased her from her breeders Whitsbury Stud.
The good news for the syndicate is that they still have Heartache’s sister Heartwarming to run for them in 2019 as a three-year-old.
