Avantito brandallof its remaining'Pendolinos'
AVANTWI estCoasthas confirmedit is movingahead with reliveringthe remainder of its plain-colouredtrains following the external brandingof two Class390 'Pendolino'trainsfor last December'slaunchof the franchise.
A contractfor the applicationof the vinylsto the fleet of 56'Pendolinos' hasbeenawardedto Aura Graphicsw, hich hasbranded manyotherfleetsof UKtrains, includingTransPennine185s and HeathrowExpress332s.
Theywill carryout the work at variousAlstomdepotson the WestCoastnetwork.
With 54 setsto brand, the target is to completea minimum of two perweek,so by the time Avanti marksits first anniversaryin December, all Class390 setsshould be in the newcolourscheme.
OnJune12,Avanti confirmedset No.390134had beenvinylled at Oxleydepot, and set 390130was noted a few dayslaterpart-branded.
Thereareno planned changesto Avanti's20five-car Class221'Voyager'sets'livery at the presenttime.
