Floundering Titans call on Rouse
FORMER Premiership lock Nic Rouse is set to be unveiled as Rotherham’s new forwards coach.
Rouse replaces Steve Salvin as the Titans continue to reshape their coaching team following this year’s bottom-ofthe-table finish.
The 36-year-old has been brought on board by new head coach Andy Key and brings with him a wealth of experience from his time at Nottingham, Sale and London Irish.
During his two spells at Nottingham working under Glenn Delaney and Martin Haig, Rouse was a three-time member of the Championship Dream Team.
He was forced to retire at the end of the 2014/15 season due to a persistent shoulder problem and has since been coaching London Irish’s academy and at Harrow School.
Meanwhile, the board have brought in John Whaling as new commercial director.
