Webb has revealed he is in contract talks with the Welsh Rugby Union and the Ospreys about extending his stay at the Liberty Stadium.
The British & Irish Lions scrumhalf sees his National Dual Contract expire at the end of the season and he has been linked with a move to European champions Saracens and French giants Toulon.
But the 28-yearold insists his preferred option is to stay in Wales.
“I’m linked with a different club every day in the paper,” said Webb.
“But I’m working closely with the WRU at the moment, so hopefully we can get things sorted.”
Ospreys head coach Steve Tandy is also confident Webb will stay in Swansea next season.
He said: “The WRU and Rhys are in talks and I'm pretty comfortable.”
