The Rugby Paper - - News -

LAST week’s column on the striking difference in ticket prices between rugby and football internationals in Cardiff prompted a veritable flood of reaction on social media, mainly from rugby fans who say they can no longer afford to watch their team.

Jo Williams, who lists her loves as rugby, theatre, food and drink, made a telling point: “Remember when Wales argued for a rugby stadium instead of an ‘elitist’ opera house? Got both in the end but opera’s more accessible now.”
