Pivac keen to bring in Moriarty
SCARLETS are planning a double swoop for Wales forward duo Ross Moriarty and Seb Davies.
Gloucester back rower Moriarty is out of contract at the end of the season, while Cardiff Blues lock Davies, 21, is yet to sign a fully professional deal in the Welsh capital.
And Scarlets boss Wayne Pivac hopes to step in by luring the pair to Llanelli for the start of the next campaign.
Any deal to bring Moriarty back to Wales would have to be partly funded by the Welsh Rugby Union with the 23-yearold Lion still a target for big spending English and French clubs.
Pivac also sees Davies – who won his first senior Wales caps against Tonga and Samoa in the summer – as a natural replacement for Tadhg Beirne who is joining Munster.
The Kiwi coach will have to rival the Blues for Davies as they plan to offer him a senior contract.
