Quins making moves for another Kiwi 10
HARLEQUINS are trying to bring New Zealand U20 vice captain Harry Plummer to the Twickenham Stoop for next season.
Fly-half Plummer, 20, who plays for the Blues where his father Mark is physio, is seen as an ideal replacement for South African Demetri Catrakilis.
Catrakilis, 29, was signed from Montpellier in 2017 after beginning his career in native South Africa with Western Province. He missed most of last season with a throat injury and his future at the club is unclear.
Plummer, right, is highly rated in NZ and is currently studying marketing and management at the Auckland University of Technology.
He could arrive at the Stoop as part of deal that Quins signed that will see them link up with the New Zealand Rugby Union under the tutelage of Nick Evans. Plummer can also operate at inside-centre and is very much seen as a potential future All Black No.10.
