Military whist

A military whist drive held in Cayton Village Hall on Wednesday October 12 raised £23 for Cayton Over 60s Club funds.

The MC was Bob Cowton and six tables were in play. Whist winners: 1 Mr and Mrs P West, R Warman, J Calam; 2 cut table T Davies, B Cowton; 3 R Souter, P Richardson, B Calvert, Mrs B Richardson.

raffle was organised by T Davies.

Winners were Mrs M Scott, Woodhead, J Calam, B Cowton, Mrs P Johnson, Mrs S Wardle, T Davies, P Pither, Mrs D Cook, Mrs V Poole.

Mrs Ann Dowson prepared the refreshments and gave the vote of thanks to Bob and Trevor for running the drive, to everyone for their support and donations towards the raffle, and help with washing up and clearing away.
