The service on Sunday was taken by Deacon Helen Webster. The organist was Doreen Lawson, vestry steward Bob Jackman and the welcomer was Margaret Harris. Bible readings were given by Margaret Harris who read from Samuel, Margaret Neave who read from John’s gospel and Sheila Gray who read from Corinthians.

In her sermon Helen spoke of how God speaks to people and invites them to follow Him and like the disciples if we are called we have to take a step of faith. She went on to say that if we accept the invitation then God’s power is working in us, through us and within us. She said that God can use all of us and He has promised to be with us what ever we do and wherever we go.

The preacher this Sunday at 10.30am is the Rev John Staton.
