Bingo on Wednesday was an enjoyable afternoon with Vera and Sheila selling the books and raffle tickets. Ted as usual was the caller. Dorothy Poole was celebratin­g her birthday and brought cream cakes to have with the tea in the interval. Then we all sang Happy Birthday to her. Lilian and Ted drew the raffle with a prize for each member.

Coffee and breakfast on Thursday was cooked and served by Phyl and Darrell as Lilian was unable to attend. Residents sat down to orange juice, bacon, sausage and beans on toast followed by coffee, toast and preserves. After eating it was the monthly meeting for the residents to suggest future activities such as meals out and trips out. George was there taking notes of the meeting. Steph from Yorkshire Coast Homes came to organise computer lessons for any residents wishing to attend. Cloughton Station Tearooms and from Barbara Chambers on 01723 870666; adults £6, children £4.

The performanc­es will be on the evenings of Wednesday to Saturday, March 1-4, 7pm, plus a Saturday matinee at 2pm.
