Castle turns blue in praise of NHS

Scarborough Castle joined other landmarks across the country in turning blue to wish the NHS a happy 72nd birthday on Sunday. Mark Williamson, the castle’s property manager, thanked the Stephen Joseph Theatre for lending them the blue filters the castle needed for its lights so that it could take part in the celebration. “We are delighted to show our gratitude to the NHS for all the amazing work they have done and continue to do during this time,” he added.
