I DOn’t know whether Mike el­lis­ton, who wrote this Ib­s­enin­spired play about art, life, love and death, in­tended the en­tire cast to be tooth-grind­ingly un­like­able, or that the pri­mary feel­ing on the death of the artist be one of re­lief, fol­lowed by a fer­vent de­sire that his muse – a histrionic ac­tress who moans her ev­ery line – die with him, but this is what he got.
