CLARIFICATIONS & CORRECTIONS

In Saturday’s edition, we stated that the Mela Festival was being investigated by the police and Scotland’s charity regulator over alleged “financial irregularities”. We would like to clarify that Police Scotland’s investigation into “claims relating to financial irregularities” involves an individual linked to the festival, rather than the organisation itself. The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator has refused to say whether there is an ongoing inquiry into the Mela.
