Royal Mint sees revenues sparkle

The Royal Mint has notched up the highest revenues in its history after snapping up a greater share of the American silver market. The 1,100-year-old coin manufactur­er said overall company revenues lifted 39 per cent to £360.6 million for 2015-16, as it capitalise­d on buoyant bullion trading, with total operating profit up by nearly a fifth to £13.1m.
