Oh I do like to be beside the seaside: Bucketfuls of fun as hot weather hits

0 Cara, seven, and her younger brother Jackson Lowe, aged five, spent a fun-filled day playing in the sand at Ayr beach yesterday, armed with their bucket and spades. The country enjoyed temperatures as hot as 27C and glorious sunshine. Today is forecast to be dry, sunny and hot again almost everywhere, but scattered thunderstorms are expected over the weekend.
