On your bike: Mountain bike fans set to descend on Fort William for coveted downhill race

Thousands of spectators are set to descend on the Highlands this weekend for the UCI Fort William Mountain Bike World Cup. The only UK leg of the prestigious world cup circuit will see more than 250 of the world’s fastest downhill riders go head-to-head down the slopes of Aonach Mor on the Nevis Range. Organisers say pre-event ticket sales are up up 15 per cent compared with this time last year.
