Battle for last two spots in cup quarter-finals

The final two Camanachd Cup quarter-final places will be decided this weekend. Oban Camanachd and Kinlochshi­el replay at Taynuilt. Oban will check on Scott Mckillop who suffered a shin injury in the 0-0 draw at Kirkton last Saturday. Kinlochshi­el’s John Macrae is suspended after his red card last week, Paul Macrae and Scott Maclean are injured and Keith Macrae and Duncan Macrae are unavailabl­e.

Lovat host Glenurquha­rt at Balgate after last week’s 1-1 draw. Lovat’s Daniel Grieve is free of suspension while James Macpherson should return for Glenurquha­rt.

In the Marine Harvest Premiershi­p, leaders Kyles Athletic welcome second placed Kingussie to Tighnabrua­ich. The Premiershi­p match between Newtonmore and Kilmallie at The Eilan and the Balliemore Cup tie between Skye Camanachd and Fort William in Portree were postponed following the sad passing of Kilmallie’s former Fort William player Duncan Rodger.
