Presenter Kerr Drummond
What’s the last piece of clothing you bought?
A crisp cotton bomber jacket by Norse Projects, which I found at Oi Polloi (www.oipolloi.com). I’ve got a few bomber jackets, mainly in dark colours so this one’s nice and bright for spring/summer.
What are you addicted to buying?
Adidas Gazelle trainers. I bought my first pair back in the mid-nineties because I wanted to look like Liam Gallagher or Damon Albarn and I don’t think I’ve been without a pair since.
Best ever bargain?
If you find something you like so much that you wear it all the time then even the most expensive piece can be a bargain in the long run.
Who has great style?
The usual suspects from the past: Steve Mcqueen, Paul Newman, James Dean. I think the actor Bill Nighy has got to be the most stylish man around at the moment.
Name your favourite high street shop.
I think we should all try and support small local independent shops if we can. Not only do you tend to get a better range of clothes but you can build up a relationship with the owners and they might even start to order in clothes with you in mind.
Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about?
Not a single fashion disaster, ever, nope, not me.
What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe?
A bright blue French workshirt by Vétra. I picked it up at Burrows & Hare which is a really cool gent’s boutique in Oxford Covered Market. It can be worn as a midlayer, shirt or jacket so it’s really versatile and looks timeless. n
