Hats off for Laura: Glasgow actress spearheads final drive to create new hospice in her home city

Actress Laura Fraser, star of The Missing and new ITV thriller The Loch, has thrown her weight behind a fundraising drive to help pay for a new hospice in Glasgow.

Construction work is already under way on the new Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice in Bellahouston Park on landed gifted by Glasgow City Council, which the first patients are expected to move into in 2018.

A £21 million “Brick By Brick” appeal still has £1.4m to go to reach its target.
