SCOTS WASHED OUT
Scotland suffered more frustration yesterday when the first day of their Intercontinental Cup clash with Namibia was washed out in Ayr. Umpires Alan Haggo and Sharfuddoulah called off play shortly after the scheduled lunch interval. The Scots have now lost 12 of a possible 17 days of action in a rain-ravaged campaign, meaning they have virtually no chance of overhauling tournament leaders Afghanistan. Play is due to start at 10.30am today.
