Boost for Beckham in Miami club plan

David Beckham has moved a step closer to forming a football club in Miami.

The ex-manchester United and England midfielder’s group, Miami Beckham United, secured the $9 million purchase of land upon which to build a stadium. Miami-dade County commissioners rubberstamped the deal, although it still requires approval from the city of Miami.
