Forsyth, celebrating Rangers’ Scottish Cup final victory over Celtic at Hampden in 1973, won two trebles during his successful stint at Ibrox.

Forsyth started his playing career at Motherwell, before his move to Ibrox, and returned to Fir Park in a coaching capacity in the Eighties.
