Norwegian Wood subsea study

Aberdeen-based Wood Group has been awarded two new contracts by Statoil to deliver concept and feasibility studies for their Norwegian North Sea assets.

Wood Group will evaluate the tie-in of rival Total’s Garantiana field development to Statoil’s Gullfaks B and Visund facilities, and do a feasibility study for Statoil’s Tampen oil pipeline, covering subsea pipelines.
