Arrayjet in life sciences ‘marquee’ signing

Arrayjet, the bio‑printing and microarray tech com‑ pany based in the Midlothi‑ an Innovation Centre, has hired life science technol‑ ogy entreprene­ur Dr Joe Keegan as a non‑executive director.

San Francisco based Keegan is a well‑known leader in life sciences, and Arrayjet said he had been hired to “drive forward future opportunit­ies and make a transforma­tive impact for the business”.

As boss of Fortebio, he raised $25 million and drove annual revenue growth of 45 per cent before its sale to Pall Cor‑ poration.

Dr Iain Mcwilliam, Arrayjet’s chief execu‑ tive, said the appointmen­t “speaks volumes for our internatio­nal reach”.
