Boy, 12, accused of having knife on school bus

A boy has been charged after allegedly being caught with a knife on a school bus in Aberdeenshire.

The 12-year-old schoolboywassaidbypolicescotland to be in possession of the blade in the Mearns area of Aberdeenshire at around 3:30pm on Monday.

Police said that a report will be sent to the Youth Justice Management Unit in connection with the incident.
