Man threatens raptors with drone and gun

Police are investigating a threat to use a drone to kill birds of prey at a Scottish falconry centre.

Ananonymouscallertold staff at the Elite Falconry centre, near Cardenden in Fife, that he would initially use a shotgun to kill the raptors and “deal with” any birds beyond the range of the conventional weapon using a drone.

He claimed the birds of prey at, which has operated since 1998, were killing rabbits and birds.
