Queen of the Clyde heads ‘doon the water’

The cruise liner Queen Elizabeth, unlike her famous predecesso­r, may not have been Clyde-built but there was still a sense of ‘coming home’ yesterday when the 90,900-tonnes flagship of the Cunard line, which can play hostess to more than 2,000 passengers, arrived in Greenock from Kirkwall before heading off to Dublin and Liverpool
