0 Dom Thomas: 3-year deal. Kilmarnock have signed Dom Thomas from their Ladbrokes Premiership rivals Motherwell.

The 21-year-old winger started six games and made 33 substitute appearances for Well but was loaned out to Queen of the South in the final few months of last season.

He has now moved to Ayrshire in search of regular football, with the Scotland Under-21 international signing a three-year deal with Killie.

A Motherwell statement read: “With his contract due to expire at the end of the current campaign, and with regular first-team football looking unlikely, the club has allowed the player to move to Rugby Park, but has protected its interests with a sizeable sell-on clause.”

Fir Park boss Stephen Robinson said: “I wanted to have a look at Dom over the first few weeks of pre-season, but he expressed a desire to move on from the club.

“This deal allows the lad to try and advance his career but also protects Motherwell’s interests inthe longer term, so it suits all parties.”

Meanwhile, Adnan Januzaj has joined Real Sociedad from Manchester United on a fiveyear contract.

It is understood the 22-yearold has joined the Laliga outfit for an initial £8 million, although the fee could rise to £9.8m, and that United have a buyback clause for the Belgium international.

Januzaj sensationally broke into the United team as an 18-year-old, hitting two goals on his full debut against Sunderland in 2013.

Since then his stock has fallen and, after two forgettable loan stints at Borussia Dortmund and Sunderland, he has now moved on.

Ruben Loftus-cheek has completed a season-long loan deal to Crystal Palace from Chelsea and is Frank de Boer’s first signing since he succeeded Sam Allardyce at Selhurst Park last month.

De Boer feels Loftus-cheek is just the right acquisition to begin his rebuilding project. “He is a very talented player and is a good height and even though he is quite tall, he has very good technique,” he said.
