Sizeable orders: Owner of Bargain Booze toasts higher sales and profits
Bargain Booze owner Conviviality Retail has toasted surging full-year figures as it continues to be boosted by acquisitions. Revenue jumped 85 per cent to £1.56 billion in the year to
April, while pre-tax profit was up 147 per cent to £22.5 million, helped by its purchase of drinks supplier Matthew Clark, pop-up bar firm Peppermint and wine wholesaler
Bibendum. Chief executive Diana Hunter said she was “pleased to report a strong set of results”, adding that Conviviality has “confidence in the future success of the business”.
