Uri Geller turns treasure seeker

-

Illusionist Uri Geller, famous for bending spoons, is to excavate a Scottish island in search of treasure allegedly buried by an exiled Egyptian princess.

He bought the uninhabited Lamb Island, in the Firth of Forth, for £30,000 in 2009. Now he has revealed plans to begin an archaeological dig there.

He said he had previously felt the presence of metal, diamonds, sapphires and gold in the southern part of the island, which he claimed was once visited by the ancient Egyptians.
