2.3 magnitude earthquake shakes villages
An earthquake shook the West Highlands over the weekend.
The 2.3 magnitude earthquake at Badrallach, a few miles west of Ullapool, was recorded by the British Geological Survey (BGS) at about 9am on Sunday.
Reportscameinfromresidents at Ullapool, Loggie, Ardessie and Camusnagaul with some describing walls “visibly” shaking.
BGS classed the quake as a three on the European Macroseismic Scale.
