Licensed lunacy

Following the BBC gender pay row, Scottish Conservatives leader Ruth Davidson has suggested all public sectors broadcasters should release wage details to help ensure men and women are on equal pay levels.

The general public must wonder why the leaders of our main political parties – moreso the Labour Party – are not more outspoken on the ridiculous salaries all these people are being paid. Then there is the more serious point of women jailed for not being able to pay the TV licence even if they don’t watch the BBC.
