The family of a Scottish woman who fell to her death in Benidorm said they will continue the fight for justice despite an attempt to detain four men questioned over her death in Spain being blocked.

Ricky Gammon, 31, Anthony Holehouse, 34, Callum Northridge, 27, and Daniel Bailey, 32, who were in the apartment at the time of Kirsty Maxwell’s death, appeared at the Palau de Justicia on Wednesday. They denied any involvement.

Mrs Maxwell, 27, from Livingston, died after falling from a hotel window on 29 April.

Her husband Adam said: “It’s been a living nightmare. Waking up every day to her not being there and going to bed every day and she’s still not there and still the unknown that surrounds everything.” 0 Kirsty Maxwell fell from a hotel window in Benidorm
