Woman killed in head-on road collision

A woman has died and a teenage boy is being treated in hospital after a crash between two cars near Helensburgh.

Police said the 32-yearold woman was driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa in Rosneath Road towards Clynder at around 6pm on Monday when a silver Ford Mondeo being driven in the other direction lost control, moved across the road and collided with her vehicle. The 21-year-old man driving the Mondeo was treated for minor injuries. His 15-year-old male passenger was taken to hopsital for treatment to a leg injury.
