will assist Tommy Mcintyre as a coach with the Under-20 squad. “He will be terrific for us,” said Kennedy.“i’ve known him a long time and I know what kind of person he is so he will bring a lot to the academy.

“Shaun is a thinker. He is an intelligent boy and Derek Mcinnes is on record as saying Shaun was honest enough to admit that he might not be able to put in the performances that Aberdeen would expect.

“We all know what he brings and it’s a big plus for everybody. It’s good to have someone fresh with that attacking mindset.

“Like me, Shaun knows the pathway here. At other clubs young players might get in quicker but here you have to patient while needing to be ready to go at any time.” Brian Graham has left Hibernian to join Cheltenham on a free transfer.

The 29-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Robins after spending a year with Hibs and helping them win promotion to the Ladbrokes Premiership.

“I’m delighted to get the deal over the line. It’s an opportunity. I’ve never played in England before and it’s something I’m looking forward to,” Graham told Cheltenham’s official website.

“I’m going to go on that training pitch and it’s all about me trying to get into this team. I can’t wait to get training and hopefully be involved on Saturday if everything gets through on time.”

Graham – who has followed former Easter Road team-mate Jordon Forster to Cheltenham – joined Hibs from Ross County last summer but found himself down the pecking order.
