Show some fight, beaten Warriors told

Stenhousem­uir manager Brown Ferguson has challenged his players to bounce back from their midweek Irn-bru Cup defeat by Cove Rangers by beating in-form Peterhead at Ochilview.

Ferguson said: “What matters now is that we get a reaction and show that we are a good side.”

Stirling Albion, who top the table on goal difference from Peterhead, welcome Edinburgh City to Forthbank with manager Dave Mackay still reeling from the midweek Irn-bru Cup defeat by Montrose.

He said: “I am looking for better in this game.”

Montrose host Cowdenbeat­h, with manager Stewart Petrie saying: “Our good run last season was built on being solid at home. I want a good run to start against Cowdenbeat­h.”

Annanathle­tichaveadd­ed former Berwick Rangers striker Blair Henderson to their squad ahead of the sides’ meeting at Shielfield, with manager Peter Murphy saying: “Having Blair in our ranks adds a level of intrigue.”

Elgin City have brought in Ross County striker Greg Morrison on loan, with the 19year-old expected to make his debut against visitors Clyde.

City boss Jim Weir said: “I have been looking for extra fire-power since pre-season started. It is great to have another option available.”
