Watches worth £20,000 taken in hotel raid

-

Watches worth more than £20,000 have been stolen from a hotel in Aberdeen.

The collection – which includes Rolex, Bulgari, Korloff and Vacheron models – was taken from the Rox Hotel in Market Street between 10:30am and 6:45pm on Saturday.

Police asked anyone who is offered a designer watch for sale to contact them.

An appeal has been made to trace a man seen in the hotel a number of times on Saturday. He is about 6ft with a large build and dark hair. He was wearing a navy jacket, dark T-shirt, light blue jeans and white trainers.
