Comedian Brand ties the knot with Scottish golfing legend’s daughter

Comedian and actor Russell Brand has turned “domestic” after tying the the knot with partner Laura Gallacher.

He and 30-year-old Gallacher, daughter of Scottish golf legend Bernard Gallacher, already have a daughter, Mabel, together.

Hours after the big day, the controvers­ial character told his Sunday Radio X listeners in detail about having his nose hair waxed and added: “I’m living a married life now... I’m domestic.”

The star reportedly hired an old-fashioned paddle steamer for the party near his home 0 Russell Brand got married in a traditiona­l church ceremony in Oxfordshir­e. Pictures of the big day show a wave of special guests attending – including singer Noel Gallagher, comedian David Baddiel and presenter Jonathan Ross.

A report in the local newspaper said Brand’s Forgetting Sarah Marshall co-star, US actor Jason Segel, was also present among the 100 guests who turned out for the traditiona­l ceremony at St Nicholas Church.

It marks a second wedding for Brand, 42, who was married to singer Katy Perry between 2010 and 2012.

Laura, whose sister is TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher, recently rekindled her on-off relationsh­ip with Brand, 40, which began when she was a teenager in 2006.
