Blurred vision

The Scotsman - - Perspective / Letters To The Editor -

I had to reread the letter from Mary Thomas (Scotsman 30 August) to make sure my vision wasn’t impaired. She accuses Ruth Davidson of helping bring about the Ulsterisation of Scottish politics. Talk about turning truth on its head!

By Ulsterisation she means that the constitutional question is at the heart of political debate, as in Ulster. There is only one party calling for another independence referendum, only one party that hasn’t accepted the result of the last one, only one party putting the constitution at the heart of political life – and that is the SNP! Unionist parties are merely reacting to this.
