Morton Welcome break

-

In a week where the national team took centre stage, Morton and Jim Duffy had time to reflect on the season so far. Out of two domestic cups early on, and a somewhat subdued start to the league campaign, one could argue the international break came at the right time for Morton.

It wasn’t a relaxing week off for the Ton, though. Duffy had his players doing extra training as well as more tactical analysis off the field ahead of the next set of fixtures. Up next is arguably the surprise package of the season so far, in-form Dunfermline. Over recent years, Morton’s home form has been nothing short of remarkable. And despite not quite rekindling that form so far this campaign, fans know that this team – on their day – can match any outfit.
