Liam attacks Noel after arena aid event

- By PAT HURST

Feuding Liam Gallagher shocked fans with another rant at his big brother Noel who stole the show at the benefit concert to mark the reopening of Manchester Arena.

Noel Gallagher had urged revellers to “keep on singing, because then we win” at the emotional climax of last night’s star-studded show, before leading the 14,000 crowd in a rendition of Don’t Look Back in Anger, adopted as an anthem to the city’s spirit in the wake of the outrage.

But Liam re-opened their long-standing, acrimonious feud with a foulmouthed tirade against his brother on Twitter on Saturday night.

He wrote: “Don’t buy into his PR stunt he doesn’t give a f*** if the same thing had have gone of in Edinburgh he’d been up there like a shot ahem.” He added: “NG broke down in tears c’mon you seriously ain’t buying that he doesn’t give a f***.”

Many fans then tweeted support for Noel and criticised Liam. Liam had performed at the We Love Manchester concert at Old Trafford cricket ground organised by Ariana Grande after the bombing in June. He arrived from a concert in Germany in time for a special guest performance.
