Tapping new markets: Brewdog launches latest bar venture in Oxford

Craft beer maker Brewdog has taken the wraps off its latest bar, in the university town of Oxford. The Ellon-based firm is offering beer-loving Oxfordians the chance to go “punking” – its take on punting. Staff will be conducting “beer schools” aboard a punt, where passengers can learn about the process of brewing, hear Brewdog’s story and sample some of its core products. James Watt (left), who cofounded the brewer with Martin Dickie, said he was proud to stand up for “innovation, imagination and taking risks”.
