Petrofac in Chevron North Sea extension

Oil services outfit Petrofac has secured a contract extension from Chevron’s North Sea arm for the provision of engineering support work.

The12-monthagreement, which comes into effect this month, will involve the continued provision of engineering support to the oil major’s key North Sea assets. Petrofac has held the arrangement with Chevron since 2014.

In line with the contract remit, Petrofac – a major employer in Scotland – will continue to deploy its “operationally-focused scalable engineering delivery model” in support of the Alba North, Erskine and Captain platforms, as well as the Alba floating storage and Captain floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) facilities.
