Dunfermline Squad size is a concern

The Doonhamers may recognise some familiar faces alighting from the Dunfermline Athletic coach on Saturday. As recently as 2012/13, Allan Johnston was the manager who took them to the Championship, aided considerably by one Nicky Clark, scoring 41 goals in 46 games (Michael Paton and David Hopkirk also featured).

If Queen of the South are in the bible, maybe it is apt that many believe Allan is taking us from the wilderness to the Promised Land. He may need to be a miracle worker though. The disparity in size of squad and quality was only too apparent in the defeat by Dundee United but, post administration, we must continue to live within our means.
