Woman hit by falling panel at train station
An elderly woman has been taken to hospital after being injured when a ceiling panel came down at a station.
The passenger was in the corridor at the Dundas Street entrance of Glasgow’s Queen Street station when the plasterboard panel collapsed shortly after 11am yesterday.
She has been taken to hospital with suspected minor injuries, a Scotrail spokesman said.
There are no reports of any other injuries to members of the public. The spokesman said: “An investigation is under way into exactly what happened.”
