Falkirk A lot of work to do

-

It wasn’t quite the fairytale start for Paul Hartley in his first game in charge of Falkirk.

The goalless draw was probably a fair result despite the fact Inverness squandered numerous chances. Ex-bairn John Baird was never a prolific scorer for Falkirk, and thankfully he never came back to haunt us as his lack of goals continued on Saturday. Our concern was the lack of chances Falkirk created. Inverness created countless chances but were poor in front of goal, whereas we didn’t ever look like scoring!

Hartley will have a lot of work to do on the training ground in preparation for Saturday’s opponents, St Mirren. Hopefully, with the arrival of the experienced Jimmy Nicholl as assistant manager, we can pull off an upset.
