US couple’s immigration case raised with PM
Theresa May has been urged to act over the case of an American couple in Scotland who face being deported.
SNP Westminster leader Ian Black ford said theFe lb ers had invested £ 400,000 in a guest house but faced deportation due to a retrospective change in Home Office rules.
The Prime Minister denied there were“systemic problems” with UK migration and said Home Secretary Amber Rudd would discuss the case with him. Mr Black ford said the situation underlined the case for Scotland to get immigration powers.
