Chilly start to the day: Scotland wakes up to the first frost of the season
Sunrise over the Forth and Clydecanalatwyndfordlock, North Lanarkshire revealed the first widespread frost of the season yesterday after the coldest night since early May.
Tulloch Bridge, in the Highlands, saw temperatures fall to -5C – the coldest recorded since the night of 8-9 May, when -5.1C was recorded at Shap, Cumbria.
